Kaiser Anderson & Denny Peeples, Col. USAF (Ret.)

The first of our 2017 Rising Stars, Prescott High School senior Kaiser Anderson, nominates his choice for Distinguished Educator – Denny Peeples, Col. USAF (Ret.)

Kaiser Anderson’s future plans include attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Daytona Beach Florida to major in Civil Engineering and joining the ROTC at ERAU to be commissioned into the Navy as an officer.

Colonel (retired) Denny Peeples is a man that I look up to. He teaches many life skills including everything from “save more than you spend” to how to make smart goals for yourself, and everything in-between. He wanted the best for me and he pushed me to make sure I had the requirements in order to reach my goal (college) while also helping create an environment of learning, leadership, high academic standards, and prosperity. He gives many opportunities for a person to step outside of their comfort zone to learn, explore, and have fun. Finally the most significant part of the Colonel is that he gives his leaders responsibilities to lead the corps and our peers to success.
