BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Jenna James

President

I am a former middle school and high school teacher whose passion to help students never left when I left the classroom. Being able to support teachers, staff, students and administrators through the PUSD Education Foundation is a dream come true for me.
Paul Kirchgraber

Paul Kirchgraber

Executive Director

I am a ten-year resident of Prescott having moved here from Tempe, AZ with my wife, Melinda, in 2010 and most recently served as the executive director of the Yavapai College Foundation.

Why did I get involved? Because members of the PUSD Education Foundation are passionate about enhancing the educational experiences of our Prescott public school students. To do this, we must bring together private philanthropic and community support in order to assist our amazing teachers and their academic initiatives.

Tom Aldridge

Programs Committee

I graduated from Grand Canyon High School before moving to Prescott to attend Yavapai College. I graduated from Yavapai College and went on to NAU in Flagstaff to complete a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media, Audio/Video Production and Engineering. I worked in Flagstaff for a few years before being able to move back to Prescott and take a position with Yavapai College as one of the IT managers over the Presentation Technology group. I am happily married to Angela, an Academic Advisor at Yavapai College and a recent master’s of education degree recipient from NAU, and dad to Collin and Audrey, who are both PUSD students.

Krista Carman

Vice President of Board Development

I am, and have been, a supporter of public schools for most of my adult life.  I started out as a special education teacher in the public schools and continue to work as an advocate for public schools.  PUSD is an amazing school district that achieves great results given very tight financial constraints – I am thrilled to support the teachers, students, administrators, and staff at PUSD through this Foundation.

My wife and I are both PUSD alumni and know firsthand the tremendous education we received. The sense of community and life lessons we learned while growing up have stayed with us as we continued our education and throughout our careers. Many of our revered teachers, coaches, and administrators continue to be mentors to us and we feel so fortunate to be a part of the PUSD Education Foundation to ensure our experiences are passed down to our children as they are being raised in this amazing community of committed educators.

Stacey Haggart

Secretary

I am actively committed to my family and community with a particular interest in how public education shapes children’s lives, environment, and long-term positive outcomes. Providing leadership in these areas while raising a family and managing a small business are my most rewarding endeavors. In addition to being a wife, mom, community servant-leader, and business owner, myself and my family enjoy performing arts, travel, and competitive sailboat racing.

Rebecca Horniman

The PUSD Education Foundation holds a very special place in my heart.  I grew up in Prescott, I attended Prescott Public Schools and after becoming a teacher, I returned to Prescott to teach for PUSD.  I am passionate about education and it is amazing to witness the innovative activities that are occurring in our classrooms daily. It is an honor to be a part of this Foundation and be able to give back and support our community’s children and teachers. It takes a village and the partnerships between our community, the District and the Foundation have proven to continue to elevate the excellence in our greatest asset, our children.
