BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Jenna James
President

Paul Kirchgraber
Executive Director
I am a ten-year resident of Prescott having moved here from Tempe, AZ with my wife, Melinda, in 2010 and most recently served as the executive director of the Yavapai College Foundation.
Why did I get involved? Because members of the PUSD Education Foundation are passionate about enhancing the educational experiences of our Prescott public school students. To do this, we must bring together private philanthropic and community support in order to assist our amazing teachers and their academic initiatives.

I knew in third grade that I wanted to be a teacher. I had the privilege of “dealing in futures” for thirty-two years as a classroom teacher. Public education is my passion. As a member of the Foundation board I am able to continue contributing my support to the students and teachers in our community.

My wife and I are both PUSD alumni and know firsthand the tremendous education we received. The sense of community and life lessons we learned while growing up have stayed with us as we continued our education and throughout our careers. Many of our revered teachers, coaches, and administrators continue to be mentors to us and we feel so fortunate to be a part of the PUSD Education Foundation to ensure our experiences are passed down to our children as they are being raised in this amazing community of committed educators.

I have been a supporter of public education because I believe every child should be given an opportunity for a life-changing education. My wife and I have sent 3 children to PUSD schools and we have been thrilled with the education and the character building they have received. A healthy public school system is essential for Prescott to continue to be a vibrant community for families and retirees.

Ginger Nolte
Vice President of Programs Committee
The PUSD Education Foundation holds a very special place in my heart. I grew up in Prescott, I attended Prescott Public Schools and after becoming a teacher, I returned to Prescott to teach for PUSD. I am passionate about education and it is amazing to witness the innovative activities that are occurring in our classrooms daily. It is an honor to be a part of this Foundation and be able to give back and support our community’s children and teachers. It takes a village and the partnerships between our community, the District and the Foundation have proven to continue to elevate the excellence in our greatest asset, our children.

My wife and I moved here from southern Arizona and chose PUSD schools for our sons who both went on to graduate from Prescott High School. I am a strong advocate of public education at all levels believing that every child deserves the best education possible. The foundation is a great way to support our educators and I am proud to be part of this organization.

Stacey Haggart

I am actively committed to my family and community with a particular interest in how public education shapes children’s lives, environment, and long-term positive outcomes. Providing leadership in these areas while raising a family and managing a small business are my most rewarding endeavors. In addition to being a wife, mom, community servant-leader, and business owner, myself and my family enjoy performing arts, travel, and competitive sailboat racing.
