College and Career Preparation

Whether a Prescott High School student is looking for a direct transition into the work world, aiming for a college certificate or degree, or wanting to attend technical school after graduation, a goal of PUSD is that each student feels prepared to move toward and be genuinely prepared for that goal.

The PUSD Education Foundation supports the goal of helping students make the move from high school to college or a career training. To succeed in life, young people need to acquire a well-rounded education that builds both academic knowledge as well as nonacademic skills. High-quality college and career readiness programming can help young people develop these competencies. In addition to college and career awareness, quality programming can help students develop skills and behaviors associated with success in both educational and employment settings.

We provide PUSD with financial support for high school programs that provide students with the opportunities to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviors to be successful in the 21st century workplace.
