Teacher's Supply ClosetThe PUSD Education Foundation Teacher’s Supply Closet’s goal is that every school district teacher has the essential materials they need to inspire—without spending a dime of their own paycheck.
Why the Closet Matters
Each school year, PUSD teachers rely on an annual classroom supply budget of roughly $100.
In Arizona, the average teacher spends over $600 of their own money shopping every year for basic classroom essentials. From pencils and paper to tissues and sanitizing wipes, our educators are often forced to choose between their personal finances and their students’ success.
The PUSDEF Teacher’s Supply Closet changes that. We act as a community-funded resource center where PUSD teachers can “shop” for free essential supplies for their classroom and their students, ensuring that no student goes without and no teacher is left with the bill.
